There is a wide variety of items on sale that will make that special Mom in your life (mother, grandmother, wife or mom-to-be) feel extra special on Mother’s Day.

The market offers charming and affordable items and gifts, as well as snacks for young and old. Enjoy a samoosa or jaffel as you browse around the tables. Items on sale include jewellery, kiddies clothing, ladies clothing, genuine leather handbags, fresh flowers, glycerine soaps and candles (to name just a few) all handcrafted by the traders. Bring the children to meet Hardy (the real live goose), the mascot of the market.

Once shopping has been completed, visitors may wish to enjoy breakfast or lunch at one of the lovely Restaurants in the Centre’s piazza while their children enjoy the play structure in the tranquil courtyard.The market is indoors with free entrance and parking and is open on the first Saturday of the month no matter what weather Cape Town is experiencing on the day.
