Established in 2012 Chapterz’s common goal is influenced by their daily life experiences. Their music traces elements of jazz, Afro soul, gospel, Hip-Hop and R&B Music.
In the early stages of the band, Chapterz had the opportunity to showcase their talents on various media platforms, including Bush Radio and Iqhayiya FM 97.0, as well as on national television channels such as Cape Town TV on the ‘Open Studio Show’ and SABC 2 on ‘Hectic 9’; the band also performed live on ‘Expresso Morning Show’. In 2013 Chapterz performed at the annual Cape Town Youth Jazz Festival.
