The Lilliput Children’s Theatre Company will be performing one of their most popular shows, The Elves and the Shoemaker at the Nassau Theatre, in the December school holidays. ‘The Elves and the Shoemaker’ will run from Monday to Saturday, December 17 to 22, at 10:30am and will be staged at the Nassau Theatre (on the grounds of Groote Schuur High School) on Palmyra Road in Newlands.
After each show the audience will be able to meet Father Christmas, who will be handing out sweets to all of the children. The producers would like to ask the parents to please bring a present or a second-hand toy for an underprivileged child to put under the Elves Christmas tree. These toys and presents will be distributed to various children’s homes, safe houses and hospitals in Cape Town before Christmas Eve.
