SA Cocktail Week

SA Cocktail Week (SAWC) is back to take participants on a “sipping adventure” around Cape Town. SAWC aims to promote creativity behind the bar while showcasing the vibrant local community and industry brands. SAWC partners with 10 hand-picked cocktail bars around the city who each create signature cocktails, exclusively available during the event. There is also a scavenger hunt around town to look for the best shaken or stirred drink on offer, interactive cocktail experiences, prizes and educational experiences.

Beaumont Open Gardens

Beaumont Family Wines hosts its annual Open Gardens, where the public are welcome to celebrate the start of summer by taking a walk through the newly bloomed garden. Guests experience the newly planted chenin vineyards and enjoy the two new dishes the Zest ladies created for these two weekends. Beaumont wines are available for tasting, while Andy, the miller, takes guests back in time with a guided tour through the historic mill.

Retreat Yourself Weekend

Retreat Yourself is a balance between a retreat and a music festival, where guests are offered the opportunity to curate their own weekend and participate in yoga classes, meditations, workshops, talks, music, dance, spa treatments, banquets, brunches, silent disco, roller boogie and more. Guests choose to stay in one of the cabins or get closer to earth by camping, which is made more comfortable with the natural shade and many bathroom facilities spread around the venue.

Rotary of Constantia’s Wine Festival

The Rotary Club of Constantia hosts its annual fundraising Wine Festival, where guests spend the evening tasting wine and help raise funds for charity at the same time. Guests can expect unlimited tastings from 10 top wine estates, music, a catered finger supper, a silent auction (of items such as special wines, whiskey, champagne, a Bo-Kaap painting, Carrol Boyes decanter, Ngwenya glass items) and a live auction of a few special items.

Cintron Pink Polo

Cintron Pink Polo Val de Vie Estate hosts the annual fundraising event, Cintron Pink Polo. The fundraiser is in aid of breast cancer programs and research. Guests expect an afternoon of polo, fashion and high tea on the lawns of South Africa’s only wine and polo Estate. Food Trucks and a Cash Bar are available at the event.

Rockin’ & Riding Festival

Dusty Rebels and The Bombshells celebrate their fifth anniversary with Rockin’ & Riding, an event that showcases vintage fashion, auto displays, Rockabilly music and more. Vendors and exhibitors occupy the space indoors. Guests are able to see a selection of pre ’63 classic cars and bikes on exhibition, while indoors they find bands, a burlesque peep show, bowling, bars, fashions, makeup, craft displays, demonstrations and more.

The Art of Perfume Making Workshop

Owner of Perfume Power and fragrance specialist, Diana Rankin hosts The Art of Perfume Making Workshop, where guests are taken on a fragrance journey to create a personalised signature scent using quality imported perfume oils. The event is suitable for fragrance lovers, perfume connoisseurs and beginners alike. Included is all the necessary equipment needed and an elegant 15ml perfume bottle with gift bag. Light refreshments and snacks are served at the event.

Francofesty International

Francofesty International is an annual international music and arts festival that covers a wide variety of genres. Its mission is to bring people and cultures together.
