Robertson Slow Food & Wine Festival

Robertson Wine Valley’s presents the eleventh annual Slow Food and Wine Festival, where guests explore a wealth of history and authentic wine experiences. Guests sample honest, old-fashioned and rural hospitality, while participating in time-honored activities, interacting with wine-makers and wine-farmers in an informal ambiance, and getting to know them and their respective families.

Zip Zap Circus – August Show

August’s performance showcases students from Zip Zap’s advanced programmes, where they show off the results of their incredible dedication and team work in an event that is suitable for the whole family. The audience are entertained by performances of trapeze, fabric, juggling, acrobatics, trampoline and much more.

SA Archaeological Society Talk

The Western Cape branch of the South African Archaeological Society holds their next meeting, Sequence and Settlement at the Rural Farm Blaauwbergvalley in the W. Cape during the 18th and 19th Century, a talk given by Marius Breytenbach. Breytenbach discusses documentary evidence that draws attention to the growing importance of the area from 1652 as a region for livestock production to supply the VOC and its trading fleet.

Artscape Women’s Humanity Arts Festival

The 11th annual Artscape Women’s Humanity Arts Festival aims to provide a space and platform where grassroots communities, women and persons living with disabilities are given the opportunity to feel celebrated and honoured. Each year the programme includes stage productions, exhibitor stalls, health screenings, entrepreneurial workshops, legal workshops, free legal counselling, a Humanity Walk and a Humanity Lunch table.
