Raga Ecstasy

Raga Ecstasy is a classical Indian music concert featuring the sitar maestro, Niladri Kumar with tabla genius, Vijay Ghate. Audiences experience the “soul-stirring” sitar as it manifests in the hands of a maestro accompanied by the passionate pulse of the tabla creating a musical splendour.

Luca Hart at Blah Blah Bar

An intimate acoustic solo show by violinist, singer and songwriter Luca Hart. A one-woman force, Hart composed, produced, recorded, mixed and designed her debut album Ebb and Flow, which was launched at Blah Blah Bar last year. She now returns to perform these songs, along with new compositions – from soulful ballads to ambient soundscapes and electronic dance music.

Grace Notes

The Cape Town Opera presents Grace Notes, a concert of spiritual music spanning centuries and continents. Following its acclaimed premiere in France in 2016, this unique concert of a cappella sacred music, curated by Thuthuka Sibisi, is heard by Cape Town audiences for the first time. There are three performances taking place over three consecutive Thursdays at St George’s Cathedral (13 and 20 July) and St John’s Church (27 July). Seating is limited at each performance.
