A Feast of Flight 2017 – Alistair in Wonderland

A Feast of Flight presents Alistair in Wonderland, a pole dancing show performed by the instructors and students of The Pole Project, in collaboration with The Scar-Lit Box. The show goes beyond a showcase of aerial artistry and is a display of daring pole dance acts interwoven with a curious theme and storyline based on Lewis Carrolls novel trilogy – Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There.

Vergelegen History and Architectural Tour

Marvel at the history and design of South Africa’s “foremost, finest and oldest” wine estates, built over 300 years ago by Willem Adriaan van der Stel. Historian Marianne Gertenbach leads the tour with help from her heritage architect John Rennie, who worked on the estate’s restoration, and Timothy Visser, who is descended from Vergelegen slaves and slave owners.

The Out Run

Hero Adventure Trails at Rhebokskloof present The Out Run, the first trail run event held at the wine estate. A selection of trails are being developed on the property and surrounds specifically designed for mountain biking, trail running, hiking, walking, obstacle courses and more. The event includes a 10km and 5km trail, a 3km trail for children and 20m baby crawl. Food and wine are also available.
