Food Truck Friday at Jack Black’s Brewery

Jack Black’s Brewing Co. has recently opened their Diep River brewery to the public, meaning that all the beers you love will be available all year round on tap. You can head over to their state-of-the-art facility for tastings and even tours! At this event, there will be two food trucks dishing up delicious eats to accompany your beer. Firstly, JACK RABBiT will be in attendance bringing their mouth-wateringly delicious burgers and all! The other provider of all things scrumptious is Sliced Between!

The Forgotten Route Train Tour to Matjiesfontein

Black Sails Prop and Memorabilia Auction

If Black Sails is the wind beneath your wings or you’re just a cinephile generally, then this event is sure to be on your schedule for July. The makers of Black Sails are hosting a prop auction that is open to serious bidders, at Cape Town Film Studio. Pretty much everything (bar the actual boats) is going on sale, and this opportunity will not come around again. There is a process to attend this event and it goes like this; buyer’s will be required to register prior to the event. You will also have to pay a R5000 refundable deposit, and get FICA-ed. Registration closes on Thursday, 20 July 2017. The viewing is strictly by appointment only and all goods need to be gone by Saturday, 22 July 2017 at 3pm.

WOOF Adoption Project at V&A Waterfront Nobel Square

WOOF Project, a mobile adoption initiative, is popping up at Nobel Square at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. This noble initiative aims to inspire the adoption of happy, healthy, perfectly good shelter dogs. The mobile pop-up initiative is comprised of a recycled green shipping container that travels around the Mother City, switching between various locations in an effort to connect the shelter dogs with their furr-ever homes.

Grand Tea Party at the Mount Nelson Hotel

James House Child and Youth Care Centre are hosting their annual fundraiser, but this time the event is taking place at the iconic Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel in Gardens. This stunning venue will provide the backdrop for this charitable high-tea event. The event will also boast a very special guest; Grizelda Grootboom. This Cape Town mother lived a nightmare when she was sold into slavery. She recently published a tell-all book called Exit! and she will be in attendance to talk about her experiences, and hopefully prevent other women from falling victim to the same circumstance.

The Grifizzi Brothers Circus

Richard Griffin and the Madame Zingara team present The Grifizzi Brothers Travelling Circus, an 80-minute show featuring a cast of local and international acts. The Cape Town Science Centre Holiday Camps & Courses

The Cape Town Science Centre (CTSC) offers camps and courses for children during the Winter school holidays.
