Brandy & Blues Evening: Gerald Clark

Backsberg Estate Cellars presents the second in its inaugural series of Brandy and Blues evenings: a performance by Gerald Clark. These intimate gigs allow guests to get up close and personal with South Africa’s foremost blues artists, while the music is complemented with a glass of Sydney Back Brandy or Glühwein received on arrival. This is followed by a two-course dinner of slow-roasted lamb shank and Sydney Brandy pudding.

Gert Vlok Nel at Blah Blah Bar

The Blah Blah Bar presents a live performance by Afrikaans musician Gert Vlok Nel, who writes songs that are of a “haunting, bewitching, almost hypnotic quality, in an unusual, innovative Afrikaans”. He is joined by industry heavyweights Louis Awerbick and Basson Laubscher on bass and guitar respectively.
