Gordon’s Bay Winter Wonderland Festival

The seaside town of Gordon’s Bay hosts its annual Winter Wonderland, which takes place over two consecutive weekends (30 June to 2 July and 7 to 9 July) this year. In honour of the temperate winter season, local restaurants, pubs and businesses dress their establishments in twinkling fairy lights.

Romantic Horror Movies at Nomad

Nomad hosts a “romance filled” Romantic Horror Movies marathon every Monday until the end of July. Nomad also offers a ‘Date Night Combo’ which includes 2 tickets, 2 burger and chips specials, and 2 glasses of wine/beer. Movie line-up includes Frankenstein (1931), King Kong (1933), The Mummy (1932) and Dracula (1931).

The Cape Town Science Centre Holiday Camps & Courses

The Cape Town Science Centre (CTSC) offers camps and courses for children during the Winter school holidays. Minecraft courses, the Winter Science Camp and the Let’s Code Holiday Camp are available to keep the young ones entertained for the month of July. Booking forms and information about the courses and camps can be found on the CTSC’s website.

Incredible Illusions

Incredible Illusions is the antithesis of your traditional exhibition experience. No hallowed halls, no soft chamber music and no photography bans. The exhibition is meant to be a fun event from beginning to end.  From finding new and inventive poses on the artworks to creating your own master piece in the art Jamming section.
