Eddy Cassar Public Relations celebrates 30 years in business on June 15. Started from humble beginnings in 1987, the company quickly found that the publicizing of annual events is where its strengths lay. Over this time, the company created The Smirnoff Internal Comedy Festival in 1997, which has developed into the popular Jive Cape Town Funny Festival, the Cape Town Cycle Tour Expo and the popular Gun Run.
It also promoted twenty three J&B Mets, many Whisky Festivals, numerous Red Nose Days and other iconic events. It internationally promoted the Opening Ceremony of the Cricket World Cup in 2003. In its early days it promoted The Smirnoff International Fashion Awards, the J&B Rare Designer Awards and the Cape Town Designer Award.
Eddy has expressed no intention of retiring and has numerous plans to develop a few more events.
The Next 48hOURS congratulates Eddy Cassar Public Relations on their milestone.
