Kronendal Music Academy will present their 5th Annual Jazz Band Fundraiser on May 27, at Riverside Estates, Valley Road in Hout Bay.
This annual charity fundraiser promises to be a blast, with some of Cape Town’s top musos joining the KMA Jazz Band on stage. This award-winning Music School is raising funds for their trip to Standard Bank National Youth Jazz Festival in Grahamstown in July.
This year the Riverside Estates stage will reverberate with a mix of local South African compositions and jazz standards, with the classy touch of the professional musos. Enjoy a glass of sherry around the fire cauldrons upon arrival and a “southern style” meal at interval – all inclusive. Some raffles will round off the evening and there will be a cash bar available.
Join Kelly Bell, Liz Gaylord, Wesley Rustin and many more will be lending their support to KMA’s budding musicians, as the youngsters attempt to follow in the footsteps of these role models and “play among the stars” for the night.
Kronendal Music Academy is an award winning non-profit organization whose main focus is to provide music education in as many forms and styles as possible to Hout Bay’s community, with special focus on its under-privileged and economically challenged areas.
