The Two Oceans Aquarium
The Two Oceans Aquarium offers more than 3000 animals in 9 galleries, including a room full of eerily-lit jellyfish, an underwater tunnel and the I&J Ocean Exhibit which offers opportunities for qualified divers. There is also an interactive exhibit where visitors can touch plants and animals or view them under a microscope, a children’s activity centre, and a venue for birthday parties.

Table Bay Eco-Safari
Ocean Adventurer in partnership with Ocean Adventurer marine tours, the Two Oceans Aquarium hosts a 90 minute boat trip around Table Bay where visitors can look out for dolphins, seals, sunfish and whales. A trained guide talks about the biodiversity of Cape Town’s waters, as well as the unique upwelling systems off the South African coastline. The ticket also includes entry into the Aquarium once the boat trip is complete. Cruise times are weather dependent, and should a trip be cancelled due to bad weather, tickets can be redeemed on another date within five days of purchase.

Que Pasa Swing Time
Weekly lindy hop and swing dance classes by Cape Town Swing, an organization run by local dancers, with a view to growing swing dancing and lindy hop in Cape Town. The classes are about dancing socially and having a good time. Lindy hop is a dance style that developed alongside the big band jazz music of the Swing Era. It originated in the Afro American communities of Harlem, New York and became popular in the 1930s to 50s. The music has its roots in African rhythms, and came full circle to South Africa in the 1930s.

Giraffe House Wildlife Awareness Centre
The centre provides easy access to Africa’s wildlife and bird species. Giraffe House aims to provide a place for people to enjoy the outdoors, whilst experiencing and learning about animals and why they are special.An important member of their team is Gerry, a hand reared giraffe. He is joined by some other animal friends that have been selected to form part of the wildlife educational programs.

Strand Waterworld

Cool Runnings Toboggan Park
A tobogganing track on steel half-pipe, the summer version of the winter sport.  Open all year, the 1.25 kilometre track has twists and curves and travels up to a maximum speed of 40km/h.  Children from age three upwards can take part.

The toboggan park is an ideal place to have children’s parties. There ready-made party invitations available for download on the Cool Running’s website and parents can choose the food and drink party pack which suits them the most. There are picnic tables which can be decorated in any way.

Acrobranch
Acrobranch allows young or old to tackle obstacles built in the trees and offers three courses – Yellow, Green and Blue – with varying levels of heights and difficulty. All aerial adventurists are strapped securely to two carabiners – offering both security from injury or harm and the advantage of being able to test your strengths without the fear of falling. Booking is not necessary, but highly recommended, as harnesses are limited. For parties and team building events, a booking and deposit is essential.

Stellenbosch Toy and Miniature Museum

South African Air Force Museum
The South African Air Force Museum houses, exhibits and restores material related to the history of the South African Air Force.
