Easter holiday fun at the Two Oceans Aquarium in Cape Town
The Two Oceans Aquarium will be hosting fun activities for the whole family during this Easter holidays. The Aquarium will also, from 31 March until 18 April open at 09h00 every morning and close at the usual time of 18h00.
The I&J Children’s Play Centre will, as always, be a buzz with fun activities for children to take part in. There are three chances a day to see the Centre’s ever-entertaining, fun and educational puppet shows (10h30, 13h30 and 15h30). The Centre will also feature arts and crafts, play activities and a book reading corner. Surprise visits by the Aquarium mascots will be the order of the day.
During the holidays in Cape Town, the magic of the Aquarium will not only be found in its exquisite exhibits, but also in the form of master magician, Regardt Laubscher. Regardt will be entertaining visitors at 15h00 on 1,2,8,9 and 15 April and at 11h30 on 16 April.
The restaurant at the Two Oceans Aquarium, Vista Marina, will also be offering fun activities for children during the April school holidays. Kids can choose their own pizza toppings and while the pizza bakes, the young ones can join Vista Marina’s supervisors on a trip back into the Aquarium for a short tour. Parents or caretakers can take this time to enjoy a peaceful refreshment. Kids will also be given the option to shape and cut cookie dough for freshly baked cookies, to decorate cupcakes and to take part in a colouring-in competition.
