Rockwell Theatre becomes new home for Kaapse Stories

The dinner-theatre experience that is Kaapse Stories traditionally housed at Richard’s Supper Stage in Greenpoint has found a new, improved home: The Rockwell Theatre, which is part of the Rockwell Hotel in Prestwich Street, Greenpoint. The first show is on March 2.

The move brings with it some great enhancements like air conditioning, wheel chair friendliness, infinitely more space to stretch your legs, and improved sound system and better overall sightlines.

The Dinner Theatre team and all members of the cast including show Director, the acclaimed Basil Appollis will all remain with the show. This team will be merged with the team of Colin Judin – General Manager of the Rockwell Hotel.

The award-winning show ‘Kaapse Stories from the Mother City’ which has now played for just shy of 5 years and enjoyed over 1000 shows to 120 000 people, will continue its tradition of offering the audience an outstanding and memorable Cape Town experience.Award winning Kaapse Stories moves to Greenpoint

The move is as seamless as even offering the full dinner-theatre experience at an unchanged price. Bus parking is available right in front of the building as well as undercover, secured parking for passenger cars and Kombis in the building’s basement.
