You can either opt for the regular Valentine’s dinner at R885 per person, which includes a glass of bubbly on arrival, or go all out for the private gazebo at R3250 per couple. This romantic al fresco dinner includes oysters and a bottle of Grande Provence Brut Méthode Cap Classique crafted on the estate. There are also some optional extras such as Imperial Heritage Caviar and more oysters for couples who want to throw all caution to the wind.

Celebrate love and the full moon

Start getting into the mood with a special concert by beloved local group Sterling EQ in Paarl in the lead-up to Valentine’s Day, on Saturday, February 11, at Cascade Country Manor.

This performance will be a tribute to the full moon while enjoying one of the most romantic venues in the Winelands.

Sterling EQ is known for changing the face of instrumental music in South Africa and beyond with their fusion of virtuosity and fresh beats. The trio is lead by flute virtuoso Carina Bruwer, with Ariella Caira on the electric cello and ace violinist and composer Luca Hart, known for her Grappelli-inspired improvisations.

Gates open at 6pm, with food and drink on sale. No picnic baskets or drinks. Children 10 and younger attend for free.

Romantic Valentine’s picnic by the sea

This Valentine’s Day enjoy an exclusive picnic for two on the rolling lawns of the Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Soak up the scenery and watch the sun go down while enjoying a picnic prepared by Chef Norman Heath.

The picnic basket includes freshly baked baguette, marinated olives, summer berry salad, Asian basted chicken skewers, a selection of local cheese and biscuits, peanut butter brownies and a bottle of wine.
