Squeeze the last little bit of enjoyment out of GrandWest’s Fun Park

GrandWest’s Fun Park has its finger on the pulse of the wants and desires of the young and young at heart. GrandWest’s Sun Exhibits and Sun Park have been transformed into a fantasy playground that has been delighting children throughout the holidays with thrilling rides and activities, and will continue to do so until Tuesday, January 10.

There are over 12 activities and rides for children aged 18 months (accompanied by a parent) and older to try in Sun Exhibits. These include horse and aeroplane swings, an inflatable pop up park, a rocket parachute simulator, a bungee trampoline, lady bug rides, a toy ride, the rodeo bull, elephant rides, the space gyro and barrel swings. In the Sun Park, there are more than seven rides to enjoy. These include big swings, the spiral jet, the jumping star, the tornado, the kangaroo, the Ferris wheel and pedal go karts.

Fun Park is open from 11am daily. Tickets cost R20 each and can be purchased at the ticket office inside Sun Exhibits. All rides require one ticket, with the exception of one ride which requires two tickets.

There will also be a line up of fun filled activities daily in GrandWest’s Cape Village during January. Activities are presented by adults in an enclosed area and many of them are free to enjoy.

The schedule includes magic shows, cookie decorating, beading workshops, balloon twisting, face painting, puppet shows, art and craft workshops, stories, dress up booths and more. The action takes place from 12pm to 4pm.
