Whisky makers to strut their stuff in Sandton

The world’s largest whisky event, the Whisky Live Festival, is once again gearing up for another year, showcasing the finest whiskies from around the world. The event will be taking place in the Sandton Convention Centre from November 9 to 11. This year’s festival will see single malt brand, Glenfiddich, introducing the Glenfiddich Experimental Series, a new range that combines the brand’s passion for pushing Scotch whisky boundaries and collaborating with trailblazers beyond the world of whisky.

Festival goers will have a chance to sample the brand’s experimental creation, the Glenfiddich IPA Experiment, the world’s first single malt Scotch whisky finished in India Pale Ale (IPA) craft beer casks. Also on hand will be Glenfiddich Project XX, the result of a collaboration between 20 whisky experts and Glenfiddich’s Malt Master, Brian Kinsman, who developed one unexpected whisky by bringing together 20 very special single malts.

Glenfiddich will also exhibit their wide range, which includes the 12 Year Old, 15 year old Solera, as well as the 18 Year Old variant and the 21 Year Old.
