Exceptional French bubblies paired with food at The Vineyard

Join Alexandra Liébart of renowned French Champagne makers Liébart-Régnier, at the Vineyard Hotel, on Friday, November 4. A three-course dinner will be served to complement a selection of French wines, supplied by Reciprocal Wines, South Africa’s oldest fine wine importer.

Liébart is the third-generation of her family to work the vineyards at Liébart-Régnier in the Marne Valley in France. Among the small-batch, world-class award-winning Champagnes created there, the 70% Pinot Noir Excelia is produced only from the first pressing of the grapes of exceptional vintages. Guests at the Vineyard’s French-wine-paired dinner can expect to enjoy the Excelia 2008 as a welcome drink, and another of the Liébart-Régnier Champagnes with the starter.

Other French wines will be served with the remaining courses; all courses are being created to complement and celebrate the exceptional qualities of the wines.
Tables at the Vineyard Hotel’s Tastes of 2016 wine-paired dinners are highly sought-after – seats are limited and bookings are essential. As the remaining 2016 dinners are fully booked, the French wine-paired dinner (R545 a head), added to the calendar recently, is the last opportunity for wine- and food-lovers to enjoy one of these events this year.
