The Irene Village Market at the Big Red Barn in Olifantsfontein is set to trade next on Saturday, October 29. The market, dedicated to arts and crafts, has been the recipient of positive press from magazines and newspapers for the environment it creates that brings together artists and patrons alike, while offering family entertainment options.
Only original arts and crafts are traded with exhibitors and their wares undergo a strict selection process. The market has become known for its authentic South African handmade arts and crafts and is situated on the grounds of the Sunlawns Estate that overlook vast grasslands and the Kaal River.
The Big Red Barn offers all manner of fun things for the kids, such as Acrobranch and Segway; and a 20km to 30km mountain bike route, a 5km to 13km trail run and a unique Olifants Cafe at the Barn for adults.
The venue is dog friendly, so take along those four pawed friends on your outing.
