The Dino Expo is an exhibition of realistic, life size, accurate to science animatronic dinosaurs that promises to capture the imagination of the public with their life-like demeanor and movement at Cedar Square in Fourways, from Fridays to Sundays, October 7 to January 15.
They will “prehistorify” the senses with their life-like roaring sounds. Visitors will be able to get lost in this realistic artistically landscaped forest with natural trees canopying a misty pathway. “Gracefully meander through a colourfully and magically lit, fog-infused wonderland,” reads the promotional materials. This prehistoric jungle setting is kitted with natural shrubs and bushes, prehistoric plants, rocks and sparkling waterfalls. This is referred to as ‘the Jurassic tour’.
As part of the experience, The Dino Expo also has an activation area for children with a wide variety of dinosaur themed edutainment activities.
‘The Jurassic tour’ experience features life size animatronic dinosaurs and accurate to science specimens in a professionally landscaped prehistoric jungle that will take about a 10 minute walk.
The general entrance ticket to The Dino Expo gives access to the activation area where kids can participate in both free and paid activities. This will take them at least 45 minutes, depending on the queues in that particular time slot.
