The iPhone 7 is here

The latest offering from tech giant Apple is the new, sleek iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. This has really been an aggressive breakthrough from Apple, which has sparked huge debate in the Smartphone world. Of course the biggest change is the removal of the beloved 3.5mm headphone jack – a very bold move we must add.
Instead users will be required to buy an adapter that links to the onboard USB and then you can use any pair of earphones. However, it’s not all doom and gloom for people sensitive to change; the latest device is packed with the future of Apple and iDevices.
The iPhone 7 is powered by a snappy A10 Fusion processor, which runs a quad core processor. We found the 4.7 inch LED backlit display to be quite impressive with its 3D touch technology and native resolution of 750×1334 pixels; while the ‘Plus’ version, which has a 5.5 inch screen, has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. In terms of storage, both the standard and plus version will be available with internal storage capacities of 32GB, 128GB and 256GB.
There is a limited black handset that will be available with only 128Gb and 256Gb storage.
Now, we all love selfies and after testing out the camera in the office both in low and high light conditions, we found the camera to be very responsive.
The rear camera is still 12 megapixels, but the quality is improved due to the processing power, with the added capability of recording 4k video at 30 frames per second.
Overall we would say if you are buying a new iPhone, get this one. There is not much you can go wrong with here: better battery life, improved camera, faster processor and protection against water…Apple have upped the game yet again.
So if you feeling eager to get your hands on the latest iPhone, head to your local Vodacom store and sign up for the iPhone 7 this weekend. Signing up will also get you a cool spot in the competition to win a trip to watch the Springboks take on Wales in Cardiff.
