Heidi Fourie

University of Pretoria Graduate, Heidi Fourie is constantly rethinking the notion of ‘the painting.’

She is inspired by the nature of the medium, embracing the language of mark-making to explore the balance of order and chaos, control and uncontrollability, figuration and its negation in the picture plane.
