Red Carpet Fashion Show brings the fashion industry to Camps Bay

The sixth annual Red Carpet Fashion Show is set to take place at The Bay Hotel, Camps Bay, on Saturday, September 17. The Red Carpet Concepts production, in partnership with Prestige Magazine and DSTV Fashion One, has taken a leap into the international arena, showcasing a mix of some of the world’s finest designer brands.
Integrating all fashion capital corners of the globe #RCFS2016 will set forth to redefine the runway in SA, upping the ante with designer brands like Devernois (France), Hackett London, Juicy Couture (USA), Vilebrequin (Spain) and Etnia Barcelona eyewear, to name but a few.

These together with SA’s King of Couture. Jacques La Grange, and rising fashion powerhouses Joanna Hedley, BeachCult (known for her showstopper run in Africa Fashion Week London and MBFW Joburg), The Hive (recently featured at Cannes Film Festival and CTFW), On Trend and M Couture.

With leading high-end technical equipment specialists, Kilowatt AV and New York and SA Fashion Week’s music producer, Dino Moran on board, RCFS2016 will be showcasing a “cutting-edge international production standard”. Guests can expect a pre-event performance from beat-boxer, singer and live-looper The Loneraynger, as well as an after party performance by Francesca Briancoli’s jazz quartet, both taking place at the Sandy B Private Beach Club. Complimentary gourmet canapés from Mediterranean Delicacies will be served, accompanied by premium wines and the world’s only white Pinotage MCC from Deetlefs Wine Estate.

Media personality, Jen Su, will take to the stage as this year’s celebrity Master of Ceremonies. The show will take place at Tides at The Bay, surrounded by the sea views and should lend a certain grandeur to the designers’ pieces as each model walks down the runway.

Artworks from Kelly John Gough and Natasja de Wet will draw the eye as focal points at the entrance of the runway and around the venue, and rose walls will adorn the venue courtesy of Eventiv. Dance performances by Tulu Entertainment will entertain the audience during brief designer interludes, whilst champagne glasses are intermittently topped up.
Guests are invited to end the evening at Sandy B Private Beach Club for the after party, where Dino Moran will set the pace for the rest of the evening, subsequent to the live jazz performance.
Each guest will walk away with a brimming luxury gift bag filled with spa vouchers and products by Dermalogica, Rain, GHD, Cape Town Beauty Bar, Mint and more to commemorate the evening.

The Bay Hotel is RCFS2016’s official accommodation partner and is offering guests exclusive bed and breakfast accommodation rates from R840 per night through Village N Life (www.villagenlife.co.za).

Tickets for the show can be purchased through Quicket for R695 and VVIP tickets are R1000, offering exclusive seating at both Sandy B and Tides.
Upon arrival each guest will receive a complimentary Rotary International Relate Bracelet, whereby the proceeds will go towards The Endangered Wildlife Trust for the Dugong Project, the Rhino Project and Cheetah Project as well as the Save The Elephants Project.
