Mike and the Harmonix want to entertain you with something old and something new

Mike and the Harmonix, a new group put together by well-known Cape Town musician and tribute show veteran, Mike McCullagh, will be performing at Die Boer Theatre Restaurant in Durbanville on Friday, September 16, at 8.30pm.

The show is headlined by accomplished singers Lucy Tops and Craig Kallis, who each has released solo albums in their careers. Other lead and backing vocals are provided by McCullagh himself on drums and percussion, with Gordon Mackay on violin and keyboards and Andy Murray on acoustic and electric guitar the other accompanying artists.

The show follows the current trend in the US, which is to focus on harmonies and folky guitars with percussion and keys.
Music fans can look forward to old and current songs, with some originals thrown in for good measure. The group has been working on their interpretation of songs by The Beatles, Bob Marley, Rihanna, Kansas, John Legend, The Pentatonix, Queen, The Corrs, One Direction, Seal and more.
The show will also feature some comedic elements, consisting of humorous local news flashes and interviews.

Tickets are R120 and can be booked by calling 021 979 1911;
