Invest in yourself through mosaic art

Bit by Bit mosaic transforms spaces, making them alive with mosaic art. The company’s primary focus is the fabrication of architectural and community spaces. Kerry Atherstone conceptualises the vision of each project and brings it to life with her dedicated team, building character into a space with “movement, line and texture”. Some of Bit by Bit’s work can be seen at St John’s Piazza in Sea Point and the Company’s Gardens.

Bit by Bit has expressed a passion for community development and engagement through the medium of mosaic. The organisation recently completed a large-scale mosaic mural that provided a “face-lift” for the Mitchells’ Plain Library. The design was inspired by children’s artwork, created in a facilitated workshop. Bit by Bit provided training opportunities for local residents and worked with a handful of extremely talented local artists.

Bit by bit mosaic “loves sharing their trade secrets by offering workshops, classes and corporate events”. The workshops and classes offer participants the chance to set aside a time “to invest in one’s self”.

Celebratory events, such as hen parties, provide a fun and creative space to let the
“bubbles rise and the good times flow”.
