Cape Town Mini Maker Faire
The second Cape Town Mini Maker Faire focuses on DIY and technology. Techies, tinkerers, hackers, hobbyists, crafters, artists, tech gurus, authors and inventors gather to engage with the public and exchange ideas. Part science fair, part trade fair, and part something entirely new, the event offers amazing creations and innovations from more than 60 exciting tech makers from around the country.

Blisters for Bread
The Peninsula School Feeding Association (PSFA) Blisters for Bread hosts their annual Charity Family Fun Walk to raise funds to feed hungry schoolchildren. The walk starts from the Cape Town stadium, along the promenade and ends with food and festivities at the Green Point Cricket Club. The PSFA has been addressing childhood hunger since 1958 and aims to eradicate child-hunger and malnutrition.

Body Worlds Vital Exhibition
The exhibition provides visitors with an opportunity to see how lifestyle choices drastically affect the body. All the sections create an absolutely amazing exhibition, demonstrating the human body’s intelligent design, how it functions and to appreciate what happens when disease strikes and how it can miraculously regenerate itself.

Delheim’s Cheese Fondue and Jazz Sundays
A laidback lunchtime affair where guests can enjoy the atmospheric tasting cellar, taste quality estate wines and snack on fondue while listening to a live jazz band until the late afternoon. Resident Chef Bruce von Pressentin’s cheese fondue follows an authentic Swiss recipe and combines Emmental, Gruyère and white wine. The fondue makes its way to the table with oven fresh bread dippers and vegetable crudités.
