Joshua Miles
Michaelis Prize winner, Joshua Miles uses the Japanese tradition of woodcut printmaking as inspirations for his work. He has expanded his skill set to include reduction lino cut and mono print techniques as well. The exhibition titled Overberg In Print features a selection of prints representing the the Western Cape’s landscape with a focus on the Overberg district.

David Koloane
An acclaimed expressionist painter, Koloane presents his new body of work in a solo exhibition, In the City. Since the 1950s, the artist has confronted the urban world in figural renderings and bold colors to develop a powerful mode of social criticism. Koloane depicts the city of Johannesburg in swirling, swaying, and executed brush strokes. At the centre of the exhibition is a new stop-motion animated video, created from a series of detailed pencil drawings.

Theo Paul Vorster
Cape Town based artist, Theo Paul Vorster holds a solo exhibition in Franschhoek in which he juxtaposes different objects and figures, creating whimsical, humorous and often surreal scenes from his imagination.
