Kids can choose their own theatrical adventure these holidays

Back by popular demand, Tangible productions’ ‘Pop-up Tales’ is set to light up the holidays at the Galloway Theatre from July 4 to 9.
Conceived and directed by Tandi Buchan, with music by Jaco Griessel, the production is an interactive, improvised storytelling treat for children where they get to decide the Who, What and Where of their very own fun filled adventure.
The professional team of actors base their inventive stories on the children in the audience’s drawings and ask for suggestions throughout the performance. With the help of songs, narration, props and of course audience participation, they will take kids on their very own, unforgettable fun-filled adventure. And because each story is improvised, no tale is ever the same.
So it could be knights, dragons, princes and princesses, space aliens, volcanoes or even superheroes…the options are endless.

* ‘Pop-up Tales’ is suitable for all ages.
Shows are scheduled for 11am daily.
Tickets are R100, or R90 for bookings of five or more. To book, visit www.waterfronttheatreschool.co.za.
