Power Series racing action returns to Killarney

The sounds of engines revving and tyres screeching in competitive action will return to Killarney on Saturday, February 20, when Round 1 of the Power Series kicks off.
The Crossley & Webb Sports & GT Series has once again gone all out in their quest to get a good start to the Championship. Unfortunately, three cars in this Series were badly damaged in the Passion for Speed

Event on February 6 and will not be on the grid. However, this should not deter from some very fast and furious racing.
In Class A Francis Carruthers (Juno S53) has the quickest lap time, and is joined by two very fast Porsches driven by Johan Engelbrecht and Craig Jarvis.
Class B is an all-Porsche affair with Gary Kieswetter (Porsche GT3RS) – who will be defending his 2015 Championship Title – and Matt Kreeve (Porsche GT3 Cup) and Sun Moodley (Porsche GT3 Cup) doing battle.

Class C features Gavin Gorman (Nardini VW), Louis de Jager (Lola 212 Toyota) and Philip Booysen (Lotus Birkin). These cars have been doing very close lap times and grid positions will be all important.
In Class D there are Cyril Ginsburg (Porsche GT3 RS) and Godfrey Lancellas (Lola 212 Toyota), along with Marcus Henkel (Birkin Ford), Paul Schwartz (GT40) and the two Harper Mk 6 Cars of Andre Ferreira and Mike Beachy-Head. A newcomer, Neerajh Ghazi (Porsche GT3) will be put in the appropriate Class after the Qualifying Session.
As well as the Crossley & Webb Sports & GT series there is a full Program with Clubmans, GTi Challenge, Supercars, V8 Mastercars, Formula Libre, Classic & Fine Cars, as well as all the Motor Cycle Categories.

* Qualifying starts at 8am and the first race is scheduled for 10am, so get there early to get the best Spectator spot to see all the action.
