Sweeney Todd – The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

Pieter Toerien and KickstArt present Jonathan Roxmouth and Charon Williams-Ros in Stephen Sondheim’s renowned musical thriller, Sweeney Todd. Set in 19th century England, the musical tells the story of Benjamin Barker, alias Sweeney Todd, who returns to London after 15 years’ transportation on trumped-up charges, to take revenge on the judge who banished him. Based on the 1973 play by Christopher Bond, the musical features the classic songs Pretty Women, Johanna, Not While I’m Around, By The Sea and A Little Priest.

Starwors – The Wors Awakens

Starwors – The Wors Awakens is a parody that retells the entire Star Wars saga in under 60 minutes, with a local twist. The audience is introduced to Darth Maulema, Princess Lamy, Queen Amazille and Luke straight from the Cape Flats, the Alien National Council and the Extra-terrestrial Freedom Federation. Featuring Allana Aldridge, Obed Plaatjes, Rameez Nordien, Khalil Kathrada and Justin Wilkinson.
