Club Vinyl enthusiasts and collectors will have reason to be cheerful as Johannesburg sees the launch of the Joburg Record Fair on the Sunday, September 20. The fair will be hosted at the Marks Park Sports Club in Emmarentia. Featuring vinyl dealers from across South Africa there will be thousands of bargains and collectibles to suit almost every music taste.
With over 20000 records in one place this event promises an ideal environment for treasure hunting and discovering that prized album you have been searching for. As well as buying, vinyl enthusiasts will be able to value their rare records, or inquire about selling unwanted collections.
Not only catering to vinyl junkies, the fair will offer CD and DVD dealers for the more modern music enthusiast as well as a vintage fashion and retro flea market on the lawns, live music entertainment courtesy of BOOSH and featuring top local acts including Shortstraw among others, as well as a selection of mouth-watering street cuisine and a craft beer record bar among other attractions.
