R&B superstars bring back the smooth sounds of the 90s

Fans of classic, 1990s era R&B are in for a treat this weekend – legendary R&B superstars Toni Braxton and Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds will be performing in Jozi. The duo will grace the stage at the Ticketpro Dome this evening – Thursday, September 3.

With the artists already having formidable solo careers that include over 75 million records sold and 18 Grammys between the pair, this show promises to be a thrilling musical journey through hits such as Braxton’s ‘Un-break My Heart’, Another Sad Love Song’ and ‘Breathe Again’; and ‘Babyface’ classics like ‘Everytime I Close My Eyes’, ‘Whip Appeal’ and ‘When Can I See You’.

Fans will be treated to a Toni Braxton and “Babyface” double bill as they each perform their own shows with songs from their catalogues of classics for the first time in Africa. Both iconic singer/songwriters shaped the sound of R&B throughout the 90s, both as individual superstars and collaborators.
