Trevor Noah – soon to be a regular fixture on the US media landscape when assuming duties on ‘The Daily Show’ later this year after the departure of John Stewart – can be seen in Jozi from May 28 to June 28 at The Teatro @ Montecasino in the comedy showcase ‘Lost In Translation’.
Noah’s star has seen a meteoric rise in recent years and is quickly becoming a household name in both the UK and USA, as he’s done here in South Africa.
The busy comedian’s international schedule means that ‘Lost In Translation’ is Noah’s first new one-man show since the sold-out ‘It’s My Culture’ in 2013 at Montecasino.
Since that tour, Noah has toured and sold out in cities across the globe from Auckland to Chicago.
The 31-year-old local comedian, who was recently brought aboard as an on-air contributor on ‘The Daily Show’, was chosen two months after Stewart unexpectedly announced he was leaving the satirical news programme after 16 years as its host and principal voice, causing the internet to explode in the process.
