Western Cape Cricket has announced that tickets for the momentous Nashua Cape Cobras Momentum One Day Domestic Final are officially open.
The Nashua Cape Cobras will host a fourth consecutive limited-overs final for the past two seasons at the Newlands Cricket Ground on Friday, February 13. There is a reserve day on Saturday, February 14, also a 3pm start. In the event of a complete wash-out, tickets bought for the 13th, will be valid for the reserve day too.

Western Cape Cricket is running a ‘best dressed competition’ for families at the final so locals are invited to form a sea of blue: be wacky, weird, wonderful, but whatever you do, come dressed in blue to see the #SummerChamps thru!’
The best dressed family (immediate families only, e.g. mum, dad + 2 siblings) will win tickets to day 1 of the SA vs England Test match at Newlands Cricket Ground on January 2, 2016, with hospitality and hassle free parking in the stadium.
The Cobras, at the summit of the Momentum One Day Cup competition with 29 points after 10 matches, will meet the winner of the semi-final play-off between the Sunfoil Dolphins and The Unlimited Titans.
The Cobras won the Ram Slam T20 Challenge final in December 2014 by comprehensively beating the Chevrolet Knights by 33 runs in a pulsating match that drew a capacity Newlands-crowd.
Robin Peterson and Andrew Puttick have set the pace with ball and bat in the limited-over domestic showpiece to help set up a home-final. Peterson has captured 18 wickets in 9 matches at an average of 17.94 and is the leading wicket-taker in the Momentum One Day Cup competition.
Puttick has scored 583 runs in nine matches at an average of 72.87. A hall-mark of his batting has been his consistency, as he has compiled a century and five half-centuries in nine matches.
Nabeal Dien, chief executive of the Nashua Cape Cobras, paid tribute to the Newlands-based team. “We have captured nine trophies the past six seasons and have been consistently the most dominant franchise in South Africa.
“Justin Ontong, Paul Adams, Salieg Nackerdien and the rest of this team have established a winning culture which should be savoured.
“We won’t bask in the glory by becoming complacent,” he promised.
“Our feats would not have been possible without the unwavering support of the Newlands-faithful. Our passionate fans have propelled our team to new heights, and we wish to thank you for inspiring the Summer Champions.”
Ticket prices remains unchanged and Dien invited the fans to book early to avoid disappointment as the full-house signs might go up early at Newlands.
