Atif Aslam live in concert in Durban & Joburg

International artist Atif Aslam is set to make his debut in South Africa when his The Sold Out World Tour lands in the country in February 2015.
Aslam is a Pakistani and Bollywood’s most sought after play back musician, who has also been dubbed the “King of Romance”. This artist will be performing his chart topping hits, for one night only shows at The International Convention Centre, Durban; and Emperors Palace Centre Court, Johannesburg.
Aslam will be bringing out his super hits from the movie soundtracks of ‘Race’, ‘Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya’, ‘Prince’ and many more.
The film pop singer made his debut appearance in Bollywood as an actor in 2011 in the movie ‘BOL’. He has recorded numerous chart topping songs and he is known for his vocal belting techniques. He was declared the most popular artist on India’s music streaming service SAAVN.
According to information posted on the star’s official website at www.aadeez.com, Aslam never came from a family of musicians, nor was he musically trained, but he used all these factors to his advantage. All he had was raw talent and the passion to be a musician. He was courageous enough to sing in his own style without giving an ear to the detractors. Many believe that his courage and passion displayed in the first album became the foundation of his success. As Aslam rode on the success of ‘Jalpari’, he also proved that he was an electrifying performer through his concerts.
Aslam started his career as a playback singer in Bollywood with the song ‘Wo Lamhey’ for the movie ‘Zeher’. The song was a commercial version of the song ‘Bheegi Yaadein’ from Aslam’s first album. The movie came out in 2005 and Aslam’s voice became an instant hit with Indian audiences.
