Ratanga Junction, the Wildest Place in Africa, is unveiling an exciting new thrill ride for the whole family, The Twister, as well as other attractions this summer.
The new ride, which is being rented for the season, can accommodate up to 36 people in three spinning and twisting pods.
There are also two new zip lines, both of which start at the Stargazer with the one running 100m to the Walled City Bridge and the other 140m to Monkey Falls. Both will run at a height of 15m.
In addition paddle boats are being introduced at Skeleton Bay.
There are also a lot of new attractions for the little ones including four new jumping castles, a toddler kiddie slide into Croc Swamp and new jungle gyms for kids parties in Hippo Hollow.
Also back by popular demand this season is the petting zoo.
There is no additional charge for these new attractions. Other than the famous human catapult, The Slingshot, all other rides are now included in the price including paddle boats, climbing wall, jumping castle, as well as the seasonal petting zoo.
Over and above the new and old thrills and spills, there is a new extensive and varied entertainment programme.
Ratanga will be open on Friday, November 28, and then daily from Sunday, December 30, until Tuesday, January 20, except for Christmas Day.
Ratanga is fully booked though, for Saturday, November 29.
