The Wild Clover Farm, situated just outside of Stellenbosch, will host its first Wild Clover Fly-In event this weekend on Saturday, October 25, in partnership with the Stellenbosch Model Aircraft Academy.
Locals and out-of-towners are encouraged to bring the whole family along for day of fun hosted at the new flying facility. Festivities will start at 9am and will see a variety of fixed wing planes take to the skies against the backdrop of beautiful views of Table Mountain. Kids can look forward to playing on the jungle gym or visiting the petting farm where a host of baby goats, pigs and chickens have just been born.
Guests can also enjoy a meal at the Wild Clover restaurant, such as their Famous Eikeboom Burger as well as pizzas, or make a day of it and spend the evening in one of the tranquil self-catering cottages.
Directions to Wild Clover Farm: Take the Klipheuwel off ramp (R304) from the N1 towards Stellenbosch for 2.5 kilometres. The Wild Clover entrance is on the Cape Town side of the R304. Follow the markers to the SMAA Flying Site.
