Design & Making Exhibition 

The Cape Craft & Design Institute (CCDI) and the Iziko Museum’s Social History Collections Department have joined forces to put together a unique exhibition that tells the story of humanity’s crafting and manufacturing journey through the ages via food storage, preservation and packaging.

Classes are small and intimate giving students ample individual attention as they learn the tricks of the trade. Beginners are more than welcome to come and learn about pottery basics such as; glazing, firing, hand as well as wheelwork.
