City Sightseeing: And the winners are…

City Sightseeing, the company that operates the red double decker open-topped buses which are iconic in Cape Town, have opened their new Tour Office in Long Street.
The Long Street Tour Office is the perfect place to not only book your tickets for the red double decker City Sightseeing bus, but also connect to other must-see experiences as well as enjoy coffee, fresh and tasty eats, purchase local arts and crafts, take advantage of the free Wi-Fi, join one of the new City Sightseeing guided city walks (Historic City Walk and Bo-Kaap Walk) and much more.

This vibey new space is a short walk from the Cape Town Tourism Centre as well as from Bus Stops 3 at the CTICC and Bus Stop 4 on the Foreshore. It is also an easy walk from the Park Inn by Radisson hotel on the Cape Town Foreshore – a hotel which is close to popular streets, cafes, the V&A Waterfront and top cultural attractions.
This ideally located hotel offers the ideal base for travellers with modern facilities, comfortable interiors and a service-minded attitude. After a day of sightseeing guests can enjoy a refreshing cool down in the splash pool on the sunroof terrace or work out in the hotel’s gym before enjoying pre-dinner drinks on the sunroof terrace overlooking Table Mountain.

City Sightseeing have also reinvented their much-loved Red City Tour to offer even easier and direct access to Table Mountain, where the tour stops at the lower Cable Car Station. Sightseers can hop onto the Red City Tour at the Two Oceans Aquarium in the V&A Waterfront. The bus then passes the Clock Tower and the CTICC, before heading up Cape Town’s main road, Adderley Street. The tour then arrives at the new Long Street Tour Office. From here those passengers wishing to continue on to Table Mountain simply stay on the bus, which will deliver them to the lower Cableway Station. For those who wish to experience the stops within Cape Town’s CBD, the Long Street Tour office is the interchange point where they then get onto the Yellow Downtown Tour.
