After the favourable response to his first album, Clegg’s music caught the attention of three time Grammy winning Canadian producer David Bottrill (Muse, Tool, Placebo). Clegg subsequently moved to Toronto for four months to work with Bottrill, who produced his second album in its entirety. Another notable contributor was Grammy award-winning engineer Bob Ludwig, who mastered the album in New York.
In 2013, Jesse was invited to play at several high profile showcase festivals in the US. These included the prestigious CMJ Music Marathon, New Music Seminar and the CBGB Festival. Over this period, he also began recording new material in studios in New York and Toronto.
