Willowbridge Shopping Centre is currently running a Flashmob Competition at the shopping destination. Several Schools, Drama & Dance Schools, Sunday Schools and Children’s Homes were invited to take part in the competition, which is still running until the end of May.
The participants were asked to host a Flashmob at the Centre over weekends and film it – the video must then be uploaded onto Youtube and a link will be placed on the Willowbridge Facebook page.
The Flashmob can consist of any form of coordinated song/dance or scene that is acted out.
Currently Bellpark Primary School, Kenridge Primary School and Durbanville High School have uploaded videos on YouTube and these can be viewed by searching “Willowbridge Flashmob Competition”, or by visiting the Centre’s Facebook page.
The school with the most “likes” on their video by the end of May will WIN a Motomia Milano Scooter valued at R11000. The scooter is currently on display at the Centre in the Pick & Pay court.
Entries for the competition are still open. The Flashmob must consist of a group of people of 15 or more and entries close on May 31. Individuals may not enter, but Schools/Sunday Schools/Children’s Homes etc. may enter the competition on behalf of individuals that make up a group of more than 15.
