The Golden Easter Egg Hunt is back again for the second year running at Kenilworth Racecourse and will take place on Monday, April 21.
Following the success of the inaugural ‘hunt’ last year, the event organisers are predicting a greater attendance this year, as the search begins for the highly sought after Golden Easter Egg.
The lucky winner who finds the Golden Egg receives the grand prize valued at R100000 to go toward their education. Alongside an action packed race card, the hunt will take place between races 3 and 4 and is limited to Grade 1 to 3 learners with registration commencing at 11.30am (bring along your child’s birth certificate).
However families with kiddies outside the age group never fear, as there will be stacks of FREE fun filled entertainment all day long.
The Enchanted Garden will play host to pony rides, bunnies and guinea fowls while a visit from the Easter Bunny himself is sure to thrill the younger set.
Great prizes will be up for grabs with a Best Decorated Egg competition courtesy of Ratanga Junction.
For the moms and dads, don’t delay and book your table in the Somerset Room for a Traditional South African Easter Buffet priced at R200pp.
Hot Cross Buns will also be available all day long on the Ground Floor.
