The ‘golden-voiced’ Malcolm Gooding will be back at the Foxwood Theatre in Houghton with the popular ‘Going Gooding’ on Sunday, April 13, at 5.30pm.
‘Going Gooding’ is a witty, nostalgia-packed account of Gooding’s 40-year broadcast career.
In the show Gooding takes audiences back to the ‘old radio days’ of South Africa – Squad Cars and cigarette advertisements and the 1995 Rugby World Cup victory; he uses his gift for mimicry to play two dozen characters and captures the essence of a bygone era of South African broadcasting.
* ‘Going Gooding’ will be performed at Foxwood 13, 5th Street, Houghton for the next three months on Sunday, April 13, May 11 and June 8 at 5:30pm. Tickets are R140.
