Songs of Freedom

Arne Hiorth is well known in his native Norway as an experienced musician, composer, producer, teacher and project coordinator. He released his first solo album in 2004. He will be joined by a 100-strong choir as he performs ‘Song of Freedom’ a musical tribute to Nelson Mandela at the Sounds Fringe Festival.

PJ Powers Tells Her Story in Firefly

With a singing career that began in the late 1970s, PJ Powers’ career has many highlights. She has recorded 16 albums, was banned from radio and TV for a year by the Apartheid government, and was encouraged by Nelson Mandela to continue her singing.
