Relive the music of the quintessential 1970s melodic rock band

Fans of classic rock can relive the 1970s with ‘Rumours’, a tribute to the easy listening, melodic rock sound pioneered by Fleetwood Mac at die Boer Theatre Restaurant in Durbanville on February 6 at 8.30pm.
The show is produced by Tel Michael Productions and Joe Recrosio Productions, Musical Director of hit shows such as ‘Life in the fast lane’ (a tribute to The Eagles) and ‘Don’t forget to remember’ (The Bee Gees). Recrosio has sought to bring a rich and energetic delivery of the songs that propelled the rock titans to stardom.

Fleetwood Mac gave the world some of the finest easy listening music of all time. With sales of albums totaling over 46 million, the talents of Peter Green, Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Stevie Nicks, Christine McVie and Lindsey Buckingham will always be remembered.
Greg Schoeman (co-originator, guitar and vocals) is one of the top South African songwriters, and together with Skye Wilson (co-originator, acoustic guitar and vocals) won the  1994 Kfm Battle of the Bands with “The Sunshines” and enjoyed Top 10 chart success with three of the songs from their album ‘Removeable Tattoos’.
As the duo Daizy Jane Schoeman and Wilson won the 2009 Quay 4 Battle of the Bands duo category. Both artists are currently recording new albums.

Recrosio (Musical Director and guitar) has over 20 years of experience as a professional musician and studio session player. He has featured in numerous television specials, music festivals and productions throughout South Africa and Zimbabwe.
The cast includes the versatile Gordon McKay on vocals ,keyboards and guitar.
Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Rumors’ album has been rated as 25th greatest album of all time by the influential Q Magazine.
