Laurika Rauch to revisit 35 years of hits at Paul Cluver

South African singer-songwriter Laurika Rauch will be on stage at the Paul Cluver Amphitheatre in Grabouw for one-night only on Saturday, January 25.
Rauch sings in English as well as Afrikaans. She had a hit single in 1979 with ‘Kinders van die Wind (Children of the Wind)’, written by Koos du Plessis.

The song featured prominently in the Afrikaans television series ‘Phoenix & Kie’ in the late seventies. From there Rauch established herself as one of Afrikaans music’s most prolific artists, spanning a career of 35 years and still going strong. She will be supported by Clinton Waring on piano and her show will be a trip down memory lane in the true sense of the word.
Gates open 5pm, and the show starts at 7pm. Food, beverages and Paul Cluver wines will be for sale. Picnics welcome.

* Tickets are R280pp. Book at Computicket. Visit  www.cluver.com for more information.
