The Tin Soldier

CAPE Town City Ballet’s artistic director, Robin van Wyk, has choreographed a brand new ballet, based on Hans Christian Andersen’s popular fairy tale of a tin soldier’s love for a paper ballerina. Set to the beautiful music of Alexander Glazunov, this presentation at the Opera House guarantees perfect family entertainment during the holiday season.

Wrongly Accused

Wrongly Accused follows a young man from the Eastern Cape who finds himself in deep trouble with the law when he is accused of robbing an Indian cellphone-shop owner. Waseef plays six characters to hilarious effect, blending pathos, comic timing, Ghoema songs and ballads, to create a dynamite theatre experience.
