Big Concerts has announced that Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will be coming to South Africa for the very first time to perform three concerts. Capetonians can look forward to seeing the legendary musicians on Tuesday and Wednesday, January 28, 2014, at the Bellville Velodrome. The Boss, as Springsteen is affectionately known, and his friends will entertain Joburg fans on the Saturday, February 1 at the FNB Stadium.
Tickets go on sale for Johannesburg on Wednesday October 30 and Cape Town on Friday November 1 and are available from www.bigconcerts.co.za, or at Computicket.
Having sold 65 million albums in the USA and over 120 million albums worldwide, Springsteen has won numerous awards including 20 Grammys, 2 Golden Globes and an Academy Award. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1999 and Rolling Stone Magazine ranked ‘Born To Run’ and ‘Thunder Road’ in its Top 500 Greatest songs of all time.
One of the biggest touring artists in the world, Bruce Springsteen’s recording career spans more than thirty years. Fans will have the chance to hear all the hits with a two and a half hour live music show.
