A concert in Durban has been added to Grammy Award-winning soul superstar Maxwell’s SA tour on Monday December 9 at Wavehouse.
Following last month’s announcement that two-time Grammy Award winning soul superstar will be performing in Cape Town and Johannesburg this December as part of his SA Tour, the show’s local promoters, Canoc Productions, have been inundated with requests for this mega star to perform in Durban. The chart-topping singer, songwriter, musician and producer will take to the stage at 7.30pm. Tickets are on sale at Computicket.

During the same year, Maxwell received an Image Award for the most Outstanding Male Artist. Throughout his highly successful singing career of more than 20 years, Maxwell has been nominated an incredible twenty-five times for various awards including the BET Awards, the American Music Awards and the Blockbuster Entertainment Awards.
Maxwell’s music spans the genres of R&B, funk, neo soul and jazz. He released his debut album ‘Maxwell’s Urban Hang Suite’, which went on to sell over 2 million copies, earning him double platinum status and a Grammy nomination.
